It just seems to be so much of a waste of time for the church. The church is the only one with the message of salvation, so why should she waster her time on something the scientists and environmentalists can worry about? It is fundamentally wrong for the church to be involved with this. Granted, we ought not deliberately harm the earth - God made it all - but let's not get carried away with something so ephemeral.
