Philippians 3:17-19 "Brethren, join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us. For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ, whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things."
Knowing that if our minds are set on earthly things that we could very well become the enemies of Christ, let us be sure that we are being transformed by the renewing of our minds. Romans 12:2a "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,"
Romans 8:5-7a "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:
You see Brethren it's our minds that we need to get right with God, it's in the mind that salvation takes place 1 Timothy 2:4 "who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth." For how can we know how to live right if we don't know how to think right?
