Ten Aspects of Love Verbalize

1. Love is Loyal Exodus 20:3 - Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

2. Love is Faithful Exodus 20:4-6 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

3. Love is Revrent Exodus 20:7 - Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

4. Love is Intimate Exodus 20:8-11 - Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

5. Love is Respectful Exodus 20:12 - Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

6. Love is Harmless Exodus 20:13 - Thou shalt not kill.

7. Love is Pure Exodus 20:14 - Thou shalt not commit adultery.

8. Love is Unselfish Exodus 20:15 - Thou shalt not steal.

9. Love is Truthful Exodus 20:16 - Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

10. Love is Content Exodus 20:17 - Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Romans 13:8 "Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law."

Romans 13:10 "Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law."

this is one of the most powerful scriptures (down below) on the law ever. we see so much more the Holiness of God through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Hebrews
10 16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

1 cor. 13 elaborates on the Holiness of God even further with what love is. that kind of love can only come from Christ!!!!!!!!! PERFECT LOVE.

and the most happily ever after love story ending is this:

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13 And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Christ's love will transcend through His sheep. we inherit His perfect love. we love Him because he first loved us.

has anyone read jonathan edwards book charity. i own it but haven't read it yet........i hear it's one of r.c sproul's favorite books.
